Starting from the perspective of narrative poetry in the early Qing Dynasty, this book conducts a detailed combing and interpretation of the social history during the Ming and Qing dynasties. It discusses and researches the political, economic, cultural and other aspects of the Chongzhen regime, Shunzhi regime, and Nanming regime respectively. It also supplements the historical poetry materials of controversial historical figures in later generations, aiming to use poetry to prove history and to supplement history with poetry.
