This book is a national-level planned textbook for ordinary colleges and universities, and is used as a textbook for undergraduate foreign literature courses and general education courses. It provides a general overview of the development process, literary genres and development clues of world literature according to historical periods. It is divided into two parts: European and American literature and Oriental literature.
