This book conducts poetry criticism research based on Tang poetry anthologies, focusing on the relationship between Tang poetry anthologies and Ming Dynasty poetry criticism. Through the analysis and interpretation of the prefaces, postscripts, examples, comments, and annotations of many Tang poetry anthologies in the Ming Dynasty, through comparison of the selections, and combined with the development of Ming Dynasty poetics, the overall view of the Ming Dynasty Tang poetry anthologies is outlined, and the development context of the Ming Dynasty Tang poetry anthologies is outlined and followed. Many anthologies of Tang poetry have been excavated and extracted from Ming poetry criticism concepts such as "discrimination of style", "style" and "temperament", and the interdependence between Tang poetry anthologies and Ming poetry genres and their role in genre disputes, as well as the theoretical characteristics of Ming Dynasty Tang poetry anthologies, have been explored. This is of great significance for enriching the field of Tang poetry anthology and the research results in the field of Ming Dynasty poetry criticism.
