About This Novel
This book is divided into two parts: writers and works. The first part is the writer part, which mainly conducts detailed research on the suspenseful issues of six representative writers including Jiangzuo Qiaozi, Lu Xiong, Wang Youding, Wang Wei, Yan Shousheng, and He Yisun on their dates of birth and death, identity of the survivors, and whether they were the authors of novels. At the same time, this book also simplifies the chronology of two writers, Wang Youding and Wang Wei. The lower part is the works section, which mainly discusses the representative works such as "The Popular Romance of the Woodcutter", "The Leisure Commentary on the Taoshu", "The Foreign History of the Female Immortal", "Nuo Gao Guangzhi", "The Interpretation" and Li Chuang's novels, etc. In terms of creative features, consciousness of the survivors, characters, laws of evolution, communication and acceptance. They form a system of their own, showing the overall appearance of the early Qing Dynasty survivor novels in the form of individual cases.
