The century-old process of the sinicization of sonnets has gone through an early import period, a standardization period, a variant exploration period and a diversified development period, during which tens of thousands of Chinese sonnets were born. The cross-lingual transplantation of poetic styles generally requires the acquisition of original styles, communication with intermediaries, and the birth of new styles. The most important transfer links are work translation, theoretical introduction, and work creation.
