About This Novel

These are a pair of brothers who participated in the revolution. Hou Anguo joined the party in 1929 and Hou Anzong joined the party in 1934. For the sake of the revolutionary cause, they are not content with a prosperous family life and are willing to consider themselves underground revolutionaries. Finally, in the anti-Japanese armed struggle in 1944, Hou Anguo and his younger brother Hou Anzong, as captain of the Yiyang Anti-Japanese Detachment, sacrificed their precious lives at the same time. Hou Anguo is an important figure in the history of the development of the Communist Party of China's underground organizations in western Henan.
