About This Novel

In 1990, as the only Chinese-American in the San Pedro Prison, Herman Fehr was treated unfairly and could not even eat. Before going to bed, Herman made a wish: "If possible, I want to have a full meal when I wake up!" Herman spent the whole night fooling around on the steps of the prison. The first thing he saw when he opened his eyes drowsily was a burly man who had just finished eating. His foot slipped and he accidentally hit a brick. Death! In full view of everyone, Herman snatched the "lunch box" that the sturdy man had dropped before his death. Although it was not delicious, it was the first full meal that Herman had eaten since he was reborn. Herman got on the train to the United States. Heman met the first girl in his life who could be called a beauty, her name was "Jessica Alba"; Herman made a wish: "If possible, I would like..."

This name gives me a headache

Lyman Herman. Sometimes I made a typo. Now I use him instead of Herman, and sometimes he replaces Lyman. It makes me really confused and I can't tell the difference. I wish I could be more concise, even if I call him a dog.

I'm in jail trying to get better off

The novel about the author living in prison with a black girl in his arms is very weird. It makes me feel like I am in New York, USA, going to a rural cooperative in Manhattan. I don't know what the climax and attraction of this novel are. It seems to give me the feeling that I am dragging my family with me to a well-off society in prison🤐

It's great. I don't know why the plot was so rushed later on.

Not to mention Chinese, the surname is gone. Whose family do you belong to? Which Han person doesn't have a Han surname?

The protagonist is not ruthless enough

The author wrote the protagonist to be a bit prone to disasters. As long as he goes out alone, an accident will definitely happen. This is a bit too much to advance the plot, and it will fall apart later on.
