I was just passing by and saw the name of the book... I thought about it... This year is 2018... This is very embarrassing??...
After reading the entire book, I have an exhilarating feeling. In the vast universe and in the long river of time, we are just a speck of dust. When the time is enlarged to hundreds of years or even tens of thousands of billions of years, when the distance is enlarged to light years, the setbacks in our lives don't matter, and our minds can't help but become broader. When our thoughts drift to a certain point in the future, our bodies may be gone, but our minds will remain forever. This book talks about science fiction while adding some humanistic factors, such as a sense of responsibility and a sense of mission. These things are placed in the future, especially on the eve of a disaster, which makes them even more tragic and important. Life still has to go on, and we humans are just stumbling forward like this. The world is ours and yours, but it is still yours after all. Hope is always there and we keep moving forward.
What if Yanji is not invented next year?
The two strongest feelings when reading Liu Cixin's books are shock and enjoyment. Shock comes from his grand scene descriptions, wild imagination and unexpected endings, while enjoyment comes from his delicate and rigorous handling of details, as well as his endlessly thought-provoking connotations and thoughts.
