Qingya Wenjian Dao
About This Novel
There is a sword in Qingya Mountain. Eight hundred years ago, a Taoist passed by this mountain and saw the green cliff pointing like a sword toward the sky. He took off his long sword from his waist, inserted it on the top of the mountain, and said with a smile: "You guard the mountain, and I guard the Tao." The sword enters the green cliff and the mountain opens to nine peaks. The Taoist lives in a hut on the main peak. He does not accept disciples or teach the Dharma. He only drinks wine in front of the sword every day. Someone asked him why he didn't preach the Taoist tradition. The Taoist replied: "Where the sword is, the Tao is there." Three hundred years later, the Taoist passed away. Before he died, he pulled out the sword, threw it into the deep pool at the foot of the mountain, and said his last words to the seekers who came after hearing the news: "The sword is at the bottom of the pool, and those who are destined can get it. The one who gets the sword will hold the green cliff." After saying this, the Taoist turned into blue smoke and dispersed. Everyone looked at each other, some people immediately jumped into the pool, but found nothing; some people knelt by the pool and waited for three months, and finally left sadly; some people simply settled down on the mountain, established a sect, and named it "Qingya Sect". Five hundred years later, the place where the casual cultivators settled has become a famous swordsmanship sect in Dongzhou. And the sword left by the founder has never been found. Some people say that it is simply a legend; some say that the sword has always been there, but the time has not come yet; others say that the sword is not at the bottom of the pond, but in the heart. The seventh generation head of the Qingya Sect just smiled and said nothing. Every year when he opened the mountain to accept disciples, he would say the same thing to the new disciples: "We, the Qingya Sect, do not raise waste, idle people, or people with evil intentions. Those who join our sect must remember three things - hold a sword, have a correct mind, and climb mountains." "Holding a sword is a skill; being upright is a duty; climbing a mountain is a destiny." "Qingya has nine peaks, one peak and one sky. It can
