Lin Chaoyan and the cook
The big sub-line is well written. A song runs through the entire story, telling two emotions that are not understood by the world. In the end, Lin Chaoyan and the cook were separated from each other. One was stained with blood, and the other died. "If there is an afterlife, I would like to grow old together with you."
Protagonist's character
The love between Su Munuan and Xuesheng is destined to be bumpy. One is a demon young master, and the other is a celestial saint, both standing on opposite sides of each other. Xuesheng is mature, calm, affectionate and righteous. She takes Su Munuan in and does her best to protect Su Munuan, even at the cost of her own life; but she is also a person with a strong sense of responsibility. After learning that Su Munuan's existence will harm the Three Realms, she is caught in the dilemma of protecting her lover and living up to her status as a saint. She wants to kill Su Munuan, but she still uses the method of getting married to protect Munuan's reincarnation. Compared to Xuesheng, Su Munuan's character is more complex. When she was a mortal, she was as hot as fire, pure and passionate, and dared to love and hate; but after experiencing "betrayal" and slander, she became obsessed with revenge and became taciturn. Su Munuan is heartbreaking. She did no evil and just wanted to live, but she was unable to reincarnate for two lives. In the end, she was forced to become a demon by the world. Xuesheng was her only good thing. Even though she "betrayed" Su Munuan, when Xuesheng was about to die, Su Munuan still let go of everything, found her kindness, and "suffered for nineteen years, waiting for her sweetheart."
