About This Novel

Everyone says money can buy most happiness in the world. If it could be bought with money... Miao Yaoyao wanted to return to the town where she was born-- She wanted to... Eat grandma's pickled salted duck eggs, have her aunt tie her pigtails, look at her mother's wrinkle-free face, ride on her father's neck, and hold a lantern to watch the fireworks in the sky. She wanted to go back to the house that she dreamed of, and to the people she thought about day and night. She thought she was still the child who didn't know how to leave, was not afraid of death, endured hardship every day, and smiled silly and sweetly. It seems that in the face of time, money is just a piece of waste paper with an amount written on it. Yaoyao wanted to go back to her past memories and relive her old dreams, but she had no choice but to let her fate be wrapped up in time and never come back. (This is a story that took nearly seven years to write. I don't know how long it will take to complete. I will try my best to describe to you the real and magical Northeastern countryside in my mind one by one.)
