About This Novel

If you haven't read "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer," you don't know who I am. But that doesn't matter. That book was written by Mark Twain, and what he wrote was mostly true. Although some things were made up by him, they were generally believable. Of course, it doesn't matter if it's not trustworthy. With the exception of Aunt Polly, Widow Douglas, and maybe Mary, I've never met anyone who didn't tell an occasional lie. Things about Aunt Polly, Tom's Aunt Polly, and Mary and the Widow Douglas were all written in that book. The book is generally reliable, but there are parts of it that are nonsense, as I just said.
