I've finished watching them all, so in the end, the heroine's granddaughter is really dead. Looking at the synopsis, the heroine should kill her son and her husband together (bushi), severing the relationship and ascending to the throne. She has such a great background and cannot protect the heroine's granddaughter. It is really useless for the heroine to be a murderer in her sixties.
