The suspicion is so severe, why should we get married?
I am really tired of reading this as a man. I'm not the person involved, but you have to understand that if you really love someone, you can accept it no matter what she does. Although she is not as heroic as a martyr woman or as honest as a prostitute, doesn't it feel uncomfortable to be so suspicious and inferior?
I haven't read it yet, but after reading the comments, I'm most afraid of novels about abusive protagonists. I feel really tired after reading them.
