About This Novel

This book is the third part of the series of novels "The Wandering Man of Wuchou River" written by Mr. Huang Yongyu. It describes that the protagonist Zhang Xuzi experienced eight years of hard life and finally won the victory of the Anti-Japanese War. In order to find a way out, he bid farewell to his newlywed wife and traveled alone in Shanghai, where he met a large number of famous figures in the literary and art circles at that time. The work describes the hope, passion and actions of a large number of progressive artists pursuing revolution amidst the victorious artillery fire of the Liberation War. Following Xuzi's footsteps, from Shanghai to Taipei to Hong Kong, Xuzi and the artists he met were living a difficult life while looking forward to welcoming a new world.
