About This Novel
On her last patrol before switching to civilian duty, Amelia is called to a crime scene where a grisly corpse is found. She immediately speculated, but her opinion was ignored. Paralyzed and able to move only one finger, Lem, a forensic expert, is seriously considering ending his life. When colleagues try to cheer him up by inviting him to solve the gruesome case, he declares that such a minor case isn't worth his time. However, when he carefully studied the documents and photos of the mutilated corpses, he became interested in the case. The murderer threw out clues one after another, seemingly trying to lure them into discovering the next crime scene. In the race against death, they gradually realized that there was something hidden...
