About This Novel
This morning, Sun Guokai, the owner of Sanli Sports Goods Company, woke up and lazily leaned on the bedside to light a cigarette. After blowing out a few smoke rings, he suddenly saw unclean marks on the teak floor of the bedroom. Looking closely, he saw a few faint shoe prints. Sun Guokai got out of bed, put on his velvet slippers and walked to the center of the room. He squatted down and took a closer look. Sure enough, it was shoe prints. Judging from the direction of the shoe prints, they were left while walking in from the bedroom door. Sun Guokai was shocked. Did someone sneak into his bedroom last night? Sun Guokai quickly checked the door and the large floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Everything was as usual, the doors and windows were tightly closed, and there was no sign of any prying. He turned around and opened the combination safe in the bedroom. There were all kinds of jewelry and gold bank cards inside, not a few of them.
