About This Novel
"Wuthering Heights" is a shocking "strange novel". It is the only work in Emily Bronte's short literary career. Although critics from all over the world have been commenting on it and studying it for many years, strangely, few people paid attention to it when it came out, and for a long time after it came out. It's really sad to see Heathcliff's regret when he was about to die. After calculating his whole life, he finally found that he had lost his original beautiful and kind heart. He didn't have any good memories in his life, and he refused to close his eyes until he died. His conscience only discovered it when he was about to die. Unfortunately, it was a little too late. In real life, we must maintain a kind and grateful heart to treat people and things in life.
Time is impermanent, cherish the people around you, but at the same time give life to time and live out the value.
People really can't just look at their appearance. In today's society, how many really ugly people are there? As long as you seriously discover the inner beauty of a person, you will find that that person is actually very good and deserves to be treated seriously and sincerely.
Heathcliff stayed away all night for a week. He must have cried in despair at Catherine's grave. Unforgettable love.

Personal opinion ~ I don't like this translation. It's a bit like beautiful ancient prose or poetry, which is boring when translated into vernacular, and there are typos, which makes people feel a little weird.
Heathcliff loves Catherine, but you can't treat Isabella so cruelly. She is also a woman who deserves to be cared for.
As far as boyfriends are concerned, Heathcliff is an infatuated person, but it is unwise to torture those around him for the sake of the lost love. As a husband, he did not love his wife, and as a father, he did not care for his children. Instead, he threatened and intimidated her. The ending tells the story of the beautiful life of a couple and the death of Heathcliff from the perspective of a third person, allowing us to look at things more objectively and have a deeper understanding of the characters.
Now I don't want to have an emotional connection with any woman. I am just fine with myself. I can only take care of myself and enjoy my own single time. I hope that the voyage can be far away. We silently bless each other in each other's hearts.
