About This Novel
"Les Misérables" is a magnificent masterpiece by the famous French writer Hugo. It took more than thirty years to complete. It is a novel that can represent Hugo's thoughts and artistic style. With outstanding artistic charm, the book reveals the tragic fate and painful situation of the poor people by describing the tragic life history of the protagonist Jean Valjean, and presents a brilliant picture of modern French social and political life from the French Revolution in 1793 to the Paris People's Uprising in 1832. It reflects Hugo's extraordinary talent in narrative to the greatest extent and is a model of the combination of realism and romanticism in the history of world literature.

After reading it, you will find that you have experienced a period of life. Either tragic, speechless, or moved.
I sympathized with Jean Valjean in the lead, worried about Father Malander, was angry with the miserable Fantine, felt sorry for the young Cosette, kept a heart open for the two fleeing people, was indignant with the indifferent Javert in the lead, but also lamented the Javert at the end. I envied the pure love between Marius and Cosette, but I was also dissatisfied with the world in the book. The world is full of fear. Fortunately, Jean Valjean finally passed away happily in Hugo's writings. Unfortunately, we all came to misery in Hugo's writings. Be a kind person, even if there are many bad things in the world, even dark things, you have to believe in one sentence, who can survive the storm and see the moonlight, engine oil.
Hey😂😂😂
Actually, I don't know why I like Jean Valjean very much. I think he is very good. If his vest had not been peeled off, he should be a successful person. He is hard-working, compassionate, reciprocal, and kind... Unless a person is in a desperate situation, he won't... And he didn't fake his death on purpose. He also saved a boatload of people. People only focus on his bad things and forget what he has done. Let me ask, who among us can do what he did?
Les Miserables is the book that took me the shortest time to read
I came into contact with this book because I knew Hugo. I watched the beginning of a good book on TV. At first, I only knew about Jean Valjean, Fantine, and Javert, and I also read some book reviews. It wasn't until I spent 8 days reading it that I understood Jean Valjean's character, Javert's contradictions, Fantine's suffering, and Marius' integrity. The structure of the novel is so perfect that it seems very enjoyable. Especially the end of the book provides me with literary masterpieces from various countries, which is really a feast for the eyes.

Other plots are wrapped around the main line, attached to and connected with each other. The whole novel has many details and complex plots, but no detail is superfluous, and no plot is outside the flow of the story.
It's very fascinating. It's my first time to read a famous book.
This is the first time I think this kind of book is very interesting. This book opened the door to a new world for me.
Hugo used a spider web-like structure to tightly bring all the plots together. Nestled in the middle of this web is the huge city of Paris. As the key characters throughout the entire story, Jean Valjean and Javert are the two intersecting main lines.

It's very touching. The more I watch it, the more I like it. It's like a lifetime has passed.
Well, I owe it to high school. After many years, I finally finished reading it.
Why does it have to be ten words? I've already said it.
