About This Novel

The synopsis of the novel is this. Mr. Gray is a male model in an oil painting. The painter's surname was Howart, and he was fascinated by Gray's handsome appearance. He believed that he was so handsome that he could lead a new style of painting. Gray met Sir Henry Wotton through the painter Howart. Sir Wharton was curious and fascinated by the hedonistic attitude towards life. Sir Wharton believes that the most important and most worthy pursuit in life is to have beauty and satisfy physical desires. Gray listened to this point of view and became convinced. He realizes that his beauty will eventually fade away. So Gray came up with a twist: He wanted to sell his soul in exchange for him in the painting instead of in real life, and instead of him, he would start to age and die. This wish actually came true. Gray then pursues all kinds of unclean and morally flawed lives in real life, and at the same time, he can still keep his appearance ageless, handsome and handsome. It's just that the person in the painting, that is, himself, ages like a normal person, and every evil deed of his is recorded.
