Christmas Carols
About This Novel
"A Christmas Carol" is one of the three Christmas novels by the great British critical realist writer Charles Dickens, written in 1843. The other two are "The Bell" and "The Cricket on the Fireside". In the Victorian era when "A Christmas Carol" was published, Christmas was not known to many British people. Later, some of the plots in this story became Christmas customs, such as family reunions, gift exchanges, Christmas meals, and even the saying "Merry Christmas" became popular from this. Therefore, Dickens is called the "Father of Christmas."

Scrooge, this image, was really annoying at first, a bitter, stingy capitalist, full of malice towards the world. But when he experienced the past, present, and future with Marley's advice and the help of ghosts, he realized how bad he was at the moment, and then decided to change his past and be full of kindness and love for the world. Everyone can choose their current life status, good or evil. Not everyone is as lucky as Scrooge, so now we cherish the present, be a positive person, believe that the world is beautiful, and spread kindness.
A short story from a high school English textbook
The plots in the textbook are vivid in my mind, and time flies by
This book is different from other Dickens novels, full of romance and touching. Those ghosts should be healed and changed the character, and my heart also gained joy as the scenes unfolded.
