An early classic.

Lan Di Meichen's transformation work, generally speaking, the quality of the first novel by Qidian writer transformation is acceptable, such as Chen Dong's Zhetian. The same is true for this film. Before this, Lan Di Meichen had been criticized for his literary and youthful style, but in this film, he gave up many literary and youthful things for the sake of commercial interests, and instead had a unique flavor. Each character in this book has its own strengths and weaknesses, desires and sacrifices, and each character is well portrayed. The plot has twists and turns and is not muddled. As for the plot, it is probably a story in which the protagonist has a rough life, but is ambitious and willing to sacrifice everything for the ideal in his heart. Perhaps influenced by "The Loneliness of the Master", in Lan Da's books, the positive characters always have an "inhuman" spirit. If you can accept it, such character design and plot development will have a different kind of magic, but the problem is that readers are ordinary people, and they will still feel uncomfortable watching such inhuman plots. I also recommend "Love and Blood" and "The Lonely Master 3: I Am God's Will". The former is better written, while the latter is not so depressing.
