About This Novel
In ancient times, a certain king of Arabia had a grudge against women because of his wife's misbehavior. Every day, he asked the prime minister to find him a young girl, marry her, and then kill her the next day. Shanruzod, the daughter of the prime minister, asked her father to marry her to the king in order to save the young girls in the world. From the first day she got married, she told stories to the king. The stories came one after another, big stories within small stories, and new stories inside the small stories. When it was almost dawn, she stopped at the important point. The king repeatedly postponed the time to kill her in order to listen to the story. It is said that Scheherazade's story was told for one thousand and one nights.
