This is Verne's classic work. For readers who like Verne's works, this book is worth reading. The Argentine Navy built a lighthouse on Staten Island, at the end of South America near the Antarctic. There was originally a group of pirates hiding on the island. After the navy left, they designed to trap and kill two lighthouse keepers. The remaining third keeper, Fasquis, saw that he was outnumbered and had to escape alone. The pirates have accumulated a lot of treasure on the island by luring ships to crash in the past few years. Recently, they got a stranded two-masted ship, and they are preparing to load all the wealth and flee to the Pacific Ocean. The wise and brave Fasquis discovered the pirates' intentions and tried his best to sabotage them, so that the two-masted ship was never able to get out. Finally, at the most critical moment, the Argentine navy arrived and brought all the pirates to justice.
