Two years ago, Mr. Zhang from Chaohu borrowed 14,000 yuan from his friend Gao. In March this year, Mr. Zhang only repaid 10,000 yuan due to lack of funds. In order to avoid future disputes, Mr. Zhang wrote another IOU to Gao: Zhang lent Gao 14,000 yuan, and he still owes 4,000 yuan. Later, after Gao was rejected several times due to reminders, he filed a complaint with Zhang in court, claiming that Zhang still owed the remaining balance of 10,000 yuan and requested return. After receiving the indictment, Mr. Zhang felt puzzled. The staff of the Judicial Office discovered that there were major ambiguities in the IOU. "Today, I will pay back the debt of 4,000 yuan (huán)", which can be interpreted as "today, I will pay back the debt of 4,000 yuan (hái)", or "today, I will pay back the debt of 4,000 yuan".
