About This Novel

This play centers on the ups and downs of the fate of Lan Xuerong, the eldest daughter of a prominent family during the Republic of China. It revolves around the fate and encounters of the three sisters of the Lan family, the nine sons and young ladies of the four generations of the Lin family. Among them are conspirators who are good at calculations, female fighters who cross the sea, and overseas students who have traveled across the ocean... The story has ups and downs, conflicts are intertwined, and climaxes are constantly emerging, recreating the turbulent lives of ordinary people in the historical torrent of that year.
