"Memories will not bring comfort, but they may make the inner life continue." However, "Fushun Stories" is not a memoir-style work. From the initial writing of people and things to the final writing of those insignificant places, after eleven years of preparation, a narrative space was created in which characters and places flowed based on a certain network structure. Among the twenty-five short stories related to Fushun, fifteen are about people and ten are about places. They are scattered and intertwined, continuously unfolding an imaginary place that is erratic but contains warmth and seems to be reminiscence. The latter story moves to a small German town, where there is light where the space opens up.
