Disqualified from the World
About This Novel
To be disqualified in the human world is to lose the qualifications to be a human being. This is the last work of Dazai Osamu's life, and it is also his important work. The book consists of the author's preface, postscript, and three letters written by the protagonist Oba Yezang. The protagonist Ye Zang has been timid and cowardly from adolescence to middle age. He is afraid of worldly emotions and does not understand the complex thoughts of human beings. He then entertains others through comedy and hides his true self. In order to escape reality, he kept sinking, experienced self-exile, alcoholism, suicide, and numbing himself with drugs, and finally walked towards the tragedy of self-destruction step by step. In the process of self-denial, he expressed his inner depression. This book contains famous works such as "The Setting Sun", "Run, Mellors", "Villon's Wife", "The Beautiful Man and the Cigarette", and "Cherry".

I'm sorry for being human
"I" was born in the northeastern countryside, and I am not considered well-informed. The first time I saw a train was when I was a little older. At that time, "I" climbed up and down the overpass, thinking that it was just to make the train station as interesting as a foreign amusement park. Climbing up and down like this was very special.
"I" have been in poor health since I was a child and am often sick, so I spend most of my time in bed. When lying on the bed, "I" think these beddings are the most boring decoration. But it was only when I was in my twenties that I realized how practical these things were.
It's lunch time, one: ↗zhou
When "I" was a child, I saw the subway in a picture book. "I" always thought that it was designed and built because the fun of riding a car underground is much higher than that on the ground. I never thought that it was built for actual needs.
