This book consists of six short stories about women's love and marriage. Some of them left their hometowns and went to strange places, and some of them went from the Northeast to the southern frontier of reform and opening up. In their youth, they could afford to love, let go, be hurt, and lose. They never retreat, and use the weakness and tenacity of women to shoulder the difficult life alone and move forward bravely. The author effectively presents the protagonist's various encounters, life trajectories and different life experiences, capturing and describing the daily life around him. In an era of overflowing narratives, it is not easy for novel writing to maintain the author's own literary concepts and narrative rhythm.
