It is based on the author's childhood and family, and adds a lot of strange imagination, magnificent images and obscure metaphors, making it difficult to distinguish between reality and dreams. The text is exquisite and poetic, full of pictures and music. The translation of this book is mainly based on the English translation by John Curran Davis.
