Youjian Library: Lace Literature
by Lu Xun
About This Novel
This book contains sixty-one essays written by the author from January to November 1934, and was published by Shanghai Lianhua Book Company in June 1936. Reprinted in August of the same year. A total of two editions were printed during the author's lifetime. Lu Xun often wrote short commentaries, which indeed started from the "Freedom Talk" submitted to "Shenbao". Collected from 1933, there are two books: "Pseudo Free Book" and "Huai Fengyue Talk". Later, the editor, Mr. Li Liewen, was really squeezed out. The next year, he was finally squeezed out. Lu Xun changed some methods, changed some pen names, and asked someone to copy and submit the manuscript. The new editor could not distinguish it carefully, so he still published it frequently. On the one hand, the scope was expanded, and the supplement "Tongxiang" of "China Daily" and the semi-monthly essay magazine "Taibai" were also written occasionally. The same text was written in 1934. The collection of these things written in 1934 is this "Lace Literature".
