Xiao Feng, whose real name is Zhao Fengxiang, was born in Beijing in November 1937 and graduated from Beijing Normal University in 1959. He has taught at Communication University of China (formerly Beijing Broadcasting Institute) for more than 50 years. In 2000, he was named one of the "Top Ten Old TV Artists" in Beijing, and in 2008, he was awarded the title of "Contributor to China's Journalism Education".
