The Rise and Fall of the Parthian Dynasty: a Brief History of the Parthian Empire
by Wang Sansan
About This Novel
"The Warriors of Iran's Vijay - The Rise and Fall of the Parthian Dynasty" mainly uses Chinese and foreign documents and archaeological materials to introduce the nearly 500-year history of the dynasty active on the Iranian plateau in the most concise way possible. To this end, the book is divided into six parts, namely the origin of the dynasty and its founding, the rise of the dynasty, the interaction between the dynasty and the Han Empire, the contest between the dynasty and Rome, and the relationship between culture, art and the Silk Road. In terms of the overall content, the book strives to focus on two aspects. One is to focus on the vertical development of the empire's own history, and the other is to focus on the relationship with the Silk Road. That is, as far as possible, the Anxi Dynasty is placed within the historical time and space of the entire inland Eurasia in the early days of the Silk Road to examine the horizontal development relationship with neighboring countries and regions.
