About This Novel
"The Tale of Genji" is a novel by the Japanese female writer Murasaki Shikibu. It is also the earliest full-length realistic novel in the world and represents the peak of Japanese classical literature. Ye Weiqu and Tang Yuemei, two influential Japanese translators and scholars, spent eight years working together to create a brand new translation for readers. With a translation that is closer to the original text and detailed annotations, it can be said to be suitable for both reading and research.

The author who only understands the Japanese currency
The writing is very interesting. Japanese culture has developed so far that it does not need to cater to the mainstream of Europe and America, but is unique in the world. On the other hand, in a certain country, the policy of obscuring the people is quite good.
Thirty years ago, I bought a middle volume of The Tale of Genji at a used bookstall. I couldn't understand it at the time, and it had no beginning or end. The translator of that version was probably Feng Zikai. I was young at the time, but I thought the Japanese were very wordy, and marriage relationships were too messy. We Chinese attach great importance to seniority, and they can actually marry their nieces. But the impression of this book has never faded. Thirty years later, I finally read the full version, and I felt very deeply while reading it. I think that if I had really understood this book, my life would have avoided a lot of detours😙 I especially admire Murasaki Shikibu, the great author. How could a frail woman from ancient times have such a profound understanding of life? I have always admired such people and even wondered if they did not drink Wangchuan water in every reincarnation😑I feel so ashamed in front of them. I always get drunk and am reincarnated in a daze. I am so ashamed that I highly recommend it😶
Why can't I see it?
I noticed this book because of the history book...
In fact, I haven't read it... But Genji Hikari... I thought of Minamoto Chisheng, Minamoto Chishou... And then I felt very sad, and then I started to care about this book. I am looking forward to this novel. (The picture on the bottom is Yuan Zhisheng, the picture on the bottom is Yuan Zhisheng)
Why can't I see it
The reason why I read this book is because I watched the movie version starring Yuki Amami before I decided to read it. I couldn't read it at first because it was too difficult to understand. But I was attracted by the movie and decided to read it. Now that I have read Chapter 6, I feel that I am fascinated. It is very good. Fortunately, I started watching the movie version and did not miss this good book.
