About This Novel
Flaubert was a master of French realist literature in the 19th century, and "Madame Bovary" is his famous and representative work. The publication of "Madame Bovary" in the Paris Magazine in 1856 not only marked a turning point in the history of French novels in the nineteenth century, but also influenced the literary genre of novels around the world. The novel describes the tragic life of a wealthy farmer's daughter in mainland France. It vividly exposed all kinds of bourgeois characters and became a realistic picture of French society in the 19th century.

This book is well written
The images created in the book are typical at all times, and some sentences are even more thought-provoking.
Madame Bovary, a timeless classic.
Well enough. . . . . .
Indulging in nothingness will eventually lead to destruction
Emma fantasized about love from the beginning of her studies in the monastery, and then married the doctor Charles. The lack of romantic real life made Emma's love fantasy come to nothing, and then gave birth to a daughter, which did not allow her to get out of her fantasy. She relied on the love of men. Romantic life was her life motivation. She took out loans to buy clothes. But they were all slapped in the face by reality, lamenting that romance and love indulged in nothingness will eventually come to nothing. Down-to-earth repetition and plainness are the essence of life, and it is a profound and long-term romance.
I think the description of the scenery is quite good, but I don't see how good this book is. If you have the opportunity, can anyone explain to me what you think is so good about this book? I really can't resonate with the author's thoughts. Of course, it's possible that I wasn't born at that time and don't understand the inner thoughts of people at that time. A book about a heroine's cheating can be praised by so many people.
