About This Novel
This book is a classic and authoritative selected translation of the Russian writer Bunin. It is edited and translated by the famous Russian translator Dai Cong. Bunin (1870-1953), an outstanding Russian poet and writer, won the Pushkin Prize twice and the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1933, in recognition of his "rigorous artistic talent, which allowed the Russian classical tradition to be inherited in prose." He is known as the "soul figure of Russian literature" and left a large number of classic works for future generations. Volume 1 contains poetry, prose, and travel notes, volume 2 contains short stories, volume 3 contains short stories, volume 4 contains novellas, and volume 5 contains novels.
