I had the honor to spend a few months at the old house in Pan County, Liupanshui. It was the spring of 2007. I was 11 years old at the time. In the era of rapid development, I went there with my parents to build roads. It was a beautiful place with beautiful mountains and clear waters and a good place for large coal production. I saw the animals from the author's writings. In those turbulent times, many people had to leave their hometowns in order to survive and devote themselves to building a prosperous Guizhou for the motherland. I would like to thank those seniors who traveled thousands of miles to come to our Guizhou and build Guizhou. I am a native of Xishui, Guizhou. The author welcomes you to Xishui.
