About This Novel
During this stolen time, Tan Shen taught Pei Shu one ancient poem after another. Pei Shu still likes the song "A Gift to Wang Lun" the most, and she especially likes that line - the water in Peach Blossom Pond is a thousand feet deep. She felt that Tan Shen was the person born from the peach blossom pond, unfathomable, tempting her to explore desperately.

There are literally more napkins than the trash can can fit in
Two-way redemption looking at each other in the abyss
I read a book with only 75,000 words in two days. Maybe it's because I already know the tragic ending, so I want their ordinary but warm time to go slower, and slower. This book breaks away from the traditional romance framework and puts emotions on the gallows of law, morality and position. They cling to each other despite the scars, and eventually come to a tragic ending. The title of the book borrows from the farewell image in Li Bai's "To Wang Lun". "The Peach Blossom Pond is Thousand Feet Deep" ostensibly extracts the male protagonist's name, Tan Shen, but it is also a metaphor throughout the book, symbolizing the unfathomable emotional bond between the two and pointing to the unbridgeable gap in stance. The language of the whole text is concise and powerful. The male protagonist's sentence "I believe in national laws, but I do not believe in people" has become the spiritual footnote of the whole book. Because of the lack of family ties, the heroine, and the hero because of his father's unjust death, both of them could not survive, but they met and fell in love because of fate. The extra story once made me think that they really came to the end, but it was a joke made by the author. The so-called he was just their adopted son who was dissatisfied with the perfect ending that God arranged for them. The author describes too many injustices. The male protagonist used his own way to go beyond the law to seek justice for his father. He did not die under the law, but suffered from a genetic disease. The author admitted that she had also been intolerant and wanted to give them a happy ending, but no matter how unfair it was, it was not a reason for the male protagonist to go beyond the national law and treat the other person in his own way. If he was punished, it would not only be contrary to the law, but also contradictory to the sense of justice in the male and female protagonists' bones. This is a punishment of fate. But it's really a pity... I can only say that in the end, Pei Shu committed suicide for love, with a smile and relief on his face. Maybe she and Tan Shen were very happy in another world.
Irresistible be aesthetics
Just 70,000 words, and my tears stained my clothes. (I just finished reading it and I really can't get over it. I'll definitely write a post when I feel better again... I actually read it for free on the software next door🌚But having said that, this book is really high quality.

The chapters took less than 3 hours to read. I felt a little depressed after watching it. The ending was not a popular "good deeds will be rewarded and evil deeds will be rewarded"
I cry every time I watch it. Why is God so cruel to these two people?
I stayed up late and watched it all in one go. I was about to burst into tears.
I believe in the law of the country but I don't believe in people
In the next life, I will find you first, accompany you through the Spring and Autumn Period, and build a temple for you.
Why waste two years not letting her know? If I had those two years, I wouldn't be so regretful
