Sun San's village is more than two miles away from the county seat. It used to be called "Dongteng". There are about a hundred households, which is too small compared to the large villages in the southern Shanxi plain that often have tens of thousands of people. Nine years ago, it merged with a small village called Xirong in the west to form an administrative village, called "Dongxi Zhuang". Gradually, Dongteng was no longer called Dongteng, but was called "Dongzhuang", and Xirong was also called "Xizhuang". In fact, it is still an independent village with four distinct areas on the plain. Surrounding the village, fields are connected as far as the eye can see. In late autumn, the sunlight seems scarce and the fields are shrouded in mist. Zhuanghe has been harvested, some are plowing the fields to sow winter wheat, some have just started irrigating, and many people are busy in the fields. We can't be busy all the time, and just take a break and talk together.
