"Red Moon in Pinglefang" has distinctive Lingnan characteristics, with night markets, streets, snacks... Full of fireworks. The upper part of the work is about the present, about the life changes and joys and sorrows of a group of locals who live in the market and make snacks as a profession; the lower part is about the past, when a girl of low status fell in love with the son of a rich man. They struggled to find their own destiny, and eventually became separated on both sides of the Taiwan Strait and could not see each other again. Later, with the reform and opening up, the two people reunited, but they were already running on their own life paths and had no chance to renew their relationship. The fates of the characters in the upper and lower parts are intertwined, but the writing methods are different. The upper part focuses on a vigorous and vigorous love-hate relationship, while the lower part is quiet and affectionate.
