About This Novel
"Years" is a comprehensive collection of works covering rural news reporting, urban investigation and research, and personal literary creation. The author Ye Shuguo reviewed his experience from teaching in rural schools, to changing careers to work in township governments, and then serving in district committee departments and municipal government agencies. He selected various manuscripts he wrote while engaged in cultural education, ideological propaganda, secretarial writing, policy research, organization building, and administrative decision-making, and compiled them into a book with the support of his unit. The whole book is mainly divided into three series: "Country Stories", "City Thoughts" and "Literary Dreams". "Rural Stories" collects news reports about rural development, rural life, and rural events; "Urban Thoughts" collects related investigations and research; "Literary Dreams" mainly reflects the author's study and creation of literature.
