About This Novel
It tells the intricate emotional entanglements and ups and downs of fate between Fan Tongguo, Li Chunmei and Ouyang Hong. Fan Tongguo fell into an extramarital affair with masseur Ouyang Hong. After his wife Li Chunmei discovered it, the family broke up. Fan Tongguo resigned from his position for Ouyang Hong, and the two went to Hankou, but fell into trouble in life. Ouyang Hong returned to her old career, even became addicted to drugs, and eventually died of a drug overdose. Fan Tongguo decided to change his mind in regret, secretly investigated Ding Zhitian's drug gang, and assisted the police in wiping them out. After Li Chunmei experienced a marital mishap, although she had an encounter with Ding Zhitian, she finally chose to wait for Fan Tongguo to be released from prison.
