He has won more than 30 awards including the National "Five One Project Award", China Television's "Golden Eagle Award", Army Television's "Gold Star Award" and the first prize of the Guizhou Provincial Government Literary Award. He is a national first-class writer, an expert subsidized by the State Council, one of the "National Four One Talents" by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, and a "National Literary and Art Worker with both Virtue and Art" by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee and the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
