About This Novel

Violin player Saint Colombe is famous for his family concerts with his two daughters. His exquisite music and his longing for his late wife seem to be able to bring back a ray of her spirit. But he refused to play for the princes and nobles, and drove away Marley, a student who played for the king. The eldest daughter Madeleine taught all the piano skills she learned from her father because of her love for Mare, but was later abandoned by Mare. Many years later, Madeleine committed suicide out of hatred. Mare, who had become the "King's Musician", thought that the music composed by Saint Colombe was about to be lost, so he came to the teacher's shed again...
