Los Angeles, the "sunshine capital" of the United States, is as warm as spring in winter. A Greyhound bus drove out of downtown Los Angeles. Zeng Yixiong, who was sitting by the window, looked out the window indifferently. In front of skyscrapers, under overpasses, and in landscape gardens between boulevards, homeless people can be seen everywhere sitting and sunbathing or sleeping. After leaving the city center and getting on the highway, cars of various styles passed by Greyhound like a whirlwind. Except for the palm trees and elm trees on the boulevard, the fields were extremely deserted and quiet. On both sides of the road are large tracts of woods and fields, dotted with bright little western-style buildings. Zeng Yixiong arrived at Los Angeles International Airport an hour ago. His uncle, whom he had never met, came to pick him up. After taking him to eat fast food in Chinatown near the airport, he took him on a Greyhound to the Pas Motel in the black area.
