About This Novel

I chose the background of the story during the reign of Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty (by the way, I would like to state that the characters and events involved in this story are purely fictitious, and any similarities are purely coincidental. The heroine, Murong Chang'an (alias Xi), the daughter of General Murong Murong, stayed in Kyoto to live on the nanny since childhood. She has an older brother, Murong Jian'an (alias Jin), who is seven years old. He has been stationed in the border with General Murong since he was young and grew up in the border. Zhuge Yan, Prince of Tuyuhun, whose original name was Nuohebo, was sent to the dormant capital of Chang'an at the age of five to plan for the Tuyuhun Kingdom, especially so that his mother could have a place in the Tuyuhun Palace. After traveling thousands of miles, he had to work carefully for the future.
