About This Novel
"Maleficent" is adapted from the classic fairy tale "Sleeping Beauty". The innocent fairy Maleficent meets Stefan, a human boy, in the Kingdom of Moore. But as he grew older, Stefan lost his innocence and became attracted to human greed. And Maleficent grew into a fairy with powerful magic. In order to become the heir to the throne, Stefan cruelly cut off Maleficent's wings. The physical pain and mental trauma turned Maleficent into a hateful witch. In order to take revenge, she cast the Maleficent Curse on Stefan's daughter, Princess Aurora. However, as Aurora grows, Maleficent gradually realizes that this little princess can not only bring peace to the two worlds, but may also bring real happiness to herself.
