The sound comes from a "ghost" in the theater's underground labyrinth. This ghost fell deeply in love with the actress Christine and secretly taught her singing skills, eventually helping her get the position of the heroine. However, this woman has always been in love with an agent named Raoul. As a result, a series of plots such as jealousy, chasing, and murder followed. Until the end, "Ghost" has self-discovery and knows that his love for Christine has risen to some kind of spiritual love, not just possession. So, he gave up on Christine, left the cloak and mask behind, and disappeared into the dark underground palace alone.
