About This Novel
Tom lost his mother when he was young and was adopted by his aunt. The smart and naughty Tom couldn't stand the control of his aunt and school teachers, and often skipped school and got into trouble. Late one night, while playing in a cemetery with his good friend Huckleberry Finn, he accidentally witnessed a murder. Fearing that the murderer would discover that they knew about it, Tom and Huckleberry fled to a desert island with another friend and became "pirates".
