Feng Yansi (also known as Yanji and Yansi, 903-960), courtesy name Zhengzhong, was born in Jiangdu Prefecture (now Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province) in the Five Dynasties. He was a famous poet and minister in the Southern Tang Dynasty during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. Feng Yansi served as an official in the Southern Tang Dynasty for two dynasties, Liezu and Zhongzhu, and became prime minister three times.
